Founded in the late 1970s, Kowhai Swimming Club has been based at Mahurangi College’s 25 m heated indoor pool on Woodcocks Road, Warkworth

Started by local volunteers, it’s always been a community-focused club that’s remained true to its grassroots origins and it still runs year‑round programmes for learners through to competitive swimmers.
