Lane Swimming Bookings
Bookings can book lane swimming sessions up to 30 days in advance. Bookings close 12 hours prior to each session to allow us time to arrange pool staffing accordingly.
Squad Swimming Bookings
Students are enrolled on a term-by-term basis. If you join partway through the term, fees will be charged on a pro-rata basis. Prior to the end of each term, we’ll be in touch to confirm whether you’d like to continue. Unless we receive a cancellation request, your child’s enrolment will automatically roll over into the next term.

We start 'learn to swim' lessons from 5years old.
We have a $25 annual membership fee per family, which helps to cover the cost of running the club.
Currently, we are using Stripe as a means of payment. They are accepting credit card details.
1. General Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to all members and participants of the Kowhai Swimming Club ("the Club"). By joining or participating in any activities hosted by the Club, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Membership
Membership is open to individuals of all ages from 5 years up who wish to participate in the swimming activities provided by the Club.
All members must complete a registration form and provide any required medical information.
Membership fees, if applicable, must be paid in full at the time of registration.
Membership is valid for the duration of the current season or calendar year unless otherwise specified.
All children in the learn to swim programmes must have an adult on site during the sessions.
3. Volunteer Committee
The Club is managed and operated by a volunteer committee.
The committee is responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of the Club’s activities.
The committee reserves the right to amend or change activities, schedules, and fees as necessary.
All committee members must act in the best interests of the Club and its members
4. Code of Conduct
All members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in a manner that promotes a positive and safe environment for all participants.
Discriminatory, abusive, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in membership suspension or expulsion from the Club.
Parents and guardians must ensure that their children are supervised appropriately during Club activities.
5. Safety
Safety is a priority in all Club activities. Members must adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the committee and coaches.
All participants are required to wear appropriate swimwear and use safety equipment as directed. Including a swim cap.
Emergency procedures, including the location of first aid kits and emergency exits, will be communicated at the start of each session.
The Club is not responsible for any personal injury or loss incurred during participation, unless caused by negligence on the part of the Club.
6. Liability Waiver
By participating in Club activities, members agree to waive any claims against the Club, its committee members, and volunteers for any injury, damage, or loss incurred, except in cases of negligence or misconduct by the Club.
7. Fees & Payment
Any fees associated with Club membership or participation in events must be paid on time to ensure continued access to activities.
Fees are non-refundable.
The Club reserves the right to change fees, with appropriate notice to members.
For lane swimming weekly sessions, the payment is recurring until you email and ask to stop, with a month's notice.
Termly swimmers are reenrolled automatically.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a participant cannot attend a session due to illness, personal reasons, or other matters, they must inform the Club as soon as possible.
Refunds for missed sessions will not be issued.
The Club reserves the right to cancel sessions or events due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, with a refund issued where applicable.
Please note that the Club has the right to change lesson time where needed.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
The Club will collect and store personal information in accordance with privacy laws. This information will be used solely for Club-related communication and activities.
Members have the right to request access to their personal information held by the Club and request any necessary corrections.
10. Photography and Media
The Club may take photos or videos during events for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and other promotional material.
If a member does not wish to be photographed or filmed, they must inform the committee in writing before the event.
11. Amendments to Terms & Conditions
The Club reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a member and the Club, the matter should be raised with the committee in writing. The committee will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
If the dispute cannot be resolved internally, the parties may seek external mediation.
Lane Swimming Weekly pass unlimited sessions - $18 per week (charged weekly - automatic payment from the card, each Saturday for the following week. 1 month notice)
Lane Swimming Casual pass - $9.50
Learn to swim - $22 per 30-minute session (charged termly)
Mini Squad - $22 per 45-minute session (charged termly)
Squad Swimming 1 x per week - $15 per week (charged termly)
Squad Swimming 2 x per week - $25 per week (charged termly)
